Oppose all Rock and Roll (2020)
A folio of 45 unique archival inkjet prints made during the pandemic. The project referenced the visual presentation and improvised production techniques of early punk zines Sniffing Glue and Sideburns. It substituted Mark Perry’s use of a felt tip pen, child’s typewriter and office photocopier, with a domestic inkjet printer and the online availability of pigment ink cartridges and Japanese kozo paper. Made sequentially, each print informs the next, with motifs drawn from architecture, abstraction, popular culture and sci fi, disappearing and reappearing through the work as a whole.
Each print 210x297mm. Works previewed at Tunnelfabrikken, Nordhavn, Copenhagen, September 2021.

Transmissions (2022)
Screen print derived from David Bowie’s 1977 TOTP performance of the song Heroes. Lascaux ink on Somerset paper. Aluminium frame and museum glass. Dimensions inc frame: 27 x 35 cm.
A high definition digital image, created by photographing Bowie’s performance as it played through an analogue CRT monitor, was then broken down and reassembled using four separate screens. The final print therefore meticulously replicates the CRT screen matrix through which the original terrestrial broadcast would have been viewed.
Edition of 75. Published by AMG-5. Printed by M.A.R.S (Glasgow).
